Halloween Lush Add-ins and Variations
- Add more crunch: For extra crunchiness, mix in some chopped nuts, like pecans or walnuts, to the cookie crust.
- Graham crackers: Substitute chocolate graham crackers for the Oreos in the crust. It will have a milder chocolate flavor but will still have a crunchy texture.
- Caramel sauce: Drizzle caramel sauce between each layer. It adds even more delicious flavor.
- Chocolate chips: Stir in mini chocolate chips to the pudding layer. White chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips work great with the other flavors.
- Marshmallows: Everyone loves mini marshmallows, and they can add an extra sweetness and fluffy texture to the topping.
- Swap out the colors: Though this recipe celebrates Halloween, you can swap out the Jello and food coloring to match the occasion. Make it green, white, and red for Christmas, pastels for Easter, and red, white, and blue for patriotic holidays.

Absolutely! In fact, preparing this dessert in advance is recommended so it gives time for the layers to set up. Making it ahead, up to a day in advance not only allows it to set properly but also saves you time on the day of your Halloween gathering.
