💗 Why We Love This Recipe

  • Fun Halloween treat
  • Easy, no bake treat
  • Perfect for kids to help make

Equipment Needed for this Recipe

  • 1 small microwave safe bowl
  • spoon
  • piping bag
  • Oreo candy mold – find these at craft stores or on Amazon

🛒 Ingredients

candy eyes, almond bark, and Oreo cookies on counter
  • 12 ounces white candy melts, reserve 1/2 cup for piping
  • 6 regular Oreos
  • Candy eyeballs
  • coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)

🥄 Instructions

Step One: Melt Chocolate

Melt some of the chocolate in the microwave by microwaving in 30-second increments, stirring in between each session. Remove bowl from microwave just before fully melted. Stir until smooth.

Step Two: Add Oreo Cookie

  • Spoon approximately ¼ cup of melted chocolate into the bottoms of each section of the candy mold. Place one Oreo in the center of the holes and press down slightly. Press just enough to secure it, but not enough to have it show on the bottom.
  • Spread more chocolate on top until the chocolate reaches the top of the mold. Tap the mold on the counter to release any air bubbles.
  • Set aside for the candy to fully set, about an hour. Once the candy melt is set, you can remove each cookie from the container.

Step Three: Decorate

  • Melt about 1/2  cup of candy melts as you did before, and add about 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil or coconut oil to thin the chocolate. This will help it drizzle better.
  • Place the chocolate in a piping bag and cut a small hole at the tip. Drizzle the chocolate back and forth over the candy, making the mummy “strips.” While the chocolate is still wet, place the eyeballs in the top 1/3 of the candy.
  • Allow the candy to fully set.
