Green Lime Sherbet Punch Variations and Add-ins

  • Lemon lime soda – This recipe uses 7-Up but you can use Sprite, Ginger Ale, Sierra Mist or even Mountain Dew.
  • Juices – Simply Lemonade has a juice-style lemonade that’s perfect for this recipe. You can use regular lemonade or pineapple juice if you prefer. Avoid using orange juice because it will give the punch a stronger flavor and color will be sort of a tan color.
  • Sherbet – You can have rainbow sherbet punch or strawberry sherbet punch simply by changing the flavor of sherbet you use.
  • Maraschino cherries – Throw in some maraschino cherries to make this a fun and whimsical Christmas Grinch Punch.
  • Gold sparkles – Add gold edible sprinkles to the top of the punch for the perfect drink on St. Patrick’s Day.

How do I Store Leftover Green Punch?

Transfer the punch to a large pitcher with lid. The scoops of sherbet will melt, and it will lose some of its fizziness, but it will still taste amazing.

Can I Make This a Boozy Punch?

You can spike this punch with vodka, rum, or champagne to create an adult version. For starters, try adding just about 1/2 cup and taste it to see if it’s strong enough for your preference.
