White Chocolate Eggnog Fudge Variations
- Extracts: We used vanilla extract, but you can also use a teaspoon of rum extract or butter extract.
- White chocolate: White chocolate looks pretty and gives this fudge milk the vanilla flavor like eggnog. But if you have milk chocolate loves in your life you can certainly use milk chocolate chips instead. I would not recommend using dark chocolate chips because they have an intense flavor that may overpower the subtle eggnog flavor
- Nuts: Add a little crunch to these yummy treats with finely chopped pecan or walnuts
- Toppings: If you want to add additional toppings to this fudge, you could try adding a little bit of flakey kosher salt for a great sweet and salty combination. You can make it extra festive by add holiday sprinkles to the top of the fudge!
Can I Use Homemade Eggnog?
This recipe calls for store-bought eggnog. But if you can make our homemade eggnog and use that in this recipe!
How Do I Store Eggnog Fudge?
Fridge: You can leave this fudge out of the fridge in an airtight container for about an hour or so, but it’s best when stored in the fridge until about 30 minutes or so prior to serving it.
Freezer: This is the perfect holiday fudge recipe you can make in advance! You can either wrap the whole pan in plastic wrap or but it into Individual slices then warp it.
If you’re freezing pieces of fudge, once you have wrapped it in plastic wrap, drop them down into a zip lock freezer bag for an extra layer of protection from freezer burn.
