Recommended Tools
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Spoon or rubber spatula
🛒 Ingredients
- Celery sticks
- Peanut butter
- Candy eyes
- Brown and red M&M’s
- Mini pretzels
🥄 Instructions
- Trim the ends of the celery sticks so they are about 4 to 5 inches in length.
- Fill the celery sticks with peanut butter using a spoon or rubber spatula.
- Place two candy eyes next to each other at the center of each stick.
- Place an M&M on the bottom of each celery stick to create a nose – you can use red for Rudolph and brown for the other reindeer.
- Gently break the pretzels in half and place each half on the top of the celery stick to make the antlers.
Tips and Suggestions
- You can use small dots of peanut butter as glue anywhere you need it.
- Natural creamy peanut butter may not work as well because it may be too runny.
- If the peanut butter is too runny, you can place the celery sticks in the fridge for 20 minutes to help firm it up before creating the rest of the reindeer.
Variations
- Try using almond butter, Nutella, or flavored peanut butter instead of plain peanut butter.
- If you don’t have M&Ms, you can use fresh raspberries to make the reindeer noses.
- Mix some mini chocolate chips in with the peanut butter before putting it on the celery sticks.
- For a more savory but equally delicious version of this recipe, try using hummus instead of peanut butter.
How Do I Store Reindeer Celery Sticks?
Store these in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve. They should keep for 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
