Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips
- 16 candy eyes
- 16 chocolate covered pretzels
- 7 brown plain M&M’s (just buy a regular pack and pick the brown ones out)
- 1 red plain M&M (or a red hot candy)
Instructions
- Spray a 9” cake pan with cooking spray and set aside. A springform pan is good for this so you can easily remove the sides.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir to coat with butter. Continue stirring until all marshmallows have melted. Remove pot from heat and mix in the crispy rice cereal. Stir the cereal into marshmallow mixture until cereal is fully incorporated and covered in marshmallows.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared cake pan and press to flatten into an even layer. Allow the rice krispie treats to cool completely.
- Once cooled, gently run a butter knife around the edge of the pan. Flip the treats out onto a cutting board.
- Use a large sharp knife to slice into 8 even triangle-shaped pieces.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, place the white chocolate chips. Microwave in 30 second intervals until chocolate is melted. Stir in between each interval.
- Spread a small amount on the back of chocolate covered pretzels and press two onto each treat for the antlers.
- Add a dab of melted white chocolate to the back of candy eyes and press two onto each treat.
- Do the same to add an M&M nose to complete each reindeer rice krispie treat.
- Make one reindeer Rudolph with a red M&M nose.
- Store treats in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
