Crockpot Steak Bite Variations and Add-ins
- Add additional veggies: onions, bell peppers, broccoli florets, asparagus tips or mushrooms work great in this recipe and are a great way to make this recipe a complete meal.
- Swap the soy: if you prefer you can use low sodium soy sauce or liquid aminos instead of regular soy sauce. For a smokier flavor, you can omit the soy and use Worcestershire sauce in its place.
- Add some heat: red pepper flakes are an easy way to add the perfect amount of heat to this recipe without changing the other flavors.
- Use chicken: Slow cooker honey garlic chicken is a wonderful alternative, and you prepare it the same way. The cook time may vary some, so after a few hours start checking the chicken to see if it’s done. It should be nice and tender when you poke it with a fork.
