You can but if they’re covered in sauce, it may end up having a weird or unique texture.

Little Smokies Crock Pot Recipe FAQs
Each package is going to have about 40-45 smokies inside. This is a good amount but they go quickly.
If you’re wondering how to plan for yourself and guests, you can easily estimate that the average person will consume between 8-10. This means that one package of Lil’ smokies should serve around 4-5 people.
Even though I’m a big fan of cooking them up in the crockpot, there are actually several ways that you can cook up these mini sausages. The crockpot allows you to slow cook them and heat them up over the course of the day but if you need a quicker cooking method, you have other options.
Popping them in the microwave will literally take just a few moments of time but will have them hot and ready to eat fast, too.
You can also put them in the oven and bake them as well which can help them have a nice crispness to their outside casings.
Overall, you have to decide which method you prefer and like best. I tend to go towards the slow cooker aspect since I love adding in the extra sauce and flavors.
Make certain to check on the package of your little smokies to see if they’re already fully cooked, first. More than likely, most of them are going to be, especially if they’re an already “smoked” flavoring. But again, double-check.
If they are already fully cooked, then you just need to make certain that you’re reheating and getting them up to temperature.
