  • Bake for 10 minutes.

  • Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown and crunchy.
  • Slice into 12 strips and serve.

Tips and Suggestions

  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make clean up easier.
  • Use melted garlic butter as a dipping sauce for your breadsticks. A simple marinara sauce or pizza sauce works great too!
  • Use a pizza cutter to slice the breadsticks evenly into strips.
  • Don’t worry too much about using the exact amounts – if you like more or less of the cheese and herbs, you can change it up to suit your preferences.

Variations

  • Add different herbs like fresh parsley, basil, thyme, or rosemary. You can also sprinkle some parmesan cheese or crushed red pepper flakes on the top of the bread after baking.
  • Add minced fresh garlic as an additional topping.
  • Make a sweet version by swapping the Italian seasoning and cheese for a cinnamon sugar blend.

How Do I Store My Leftover Breadsticks?

Store your leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. They should keep for 3-4 days.

How Should I Reheat the Leftovers?

I recommend popping them in the air fryer or toaster oven. This will help them keep their crispy outside and chewy inside. If you don’t have an air fryer or toaster oven, the microwave or conventional oven will also work.

What Can I Serve with Pizza Dough Breadsticks?

These would make a delicious snack on their own, but they’d also be a great accompaniment to any pasta or other Italian dish, or a hearty soup or entree salad.
