You’ll need just a few items to make sugar scrub:
- Coconut oil
- White sugar
- Lemon extract
- Lemon zest
- Lemon essential oil
- Yellow food coloring
How To Make Lemon Sugar Scrub
Now it’s time to learn how to make lemon sugar scrub. This sugar scrub recipe is easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. You kitchen is going to smell so fresh and clean!
Pour the sugar in a bowl.
Melt the coconut oil and add with the sugar.
One at a time, add the lemon extract, lemon essential oil, food coloring and lemon zest.
Stir after each addition.
It should be looking like sugar scrub at this point.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ½ C. Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon Extract
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- 5-10 drops Lemon Essential Oil
- 2-4 drops yellow food coloring
Instructions
- Place the coconut oil in microwave until melted.
- In a large bowl, add white sugar and coconut oil.
- Mix together until a thick paste is formed.
- One at a time, add the lemon extract, lemon essential oil, food coloring and lemon zest.
- Stir until mixture is well blended and fluffy.
- Store in an air-tight glass jar in the refrigerator until ready to use.
