Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub Ingredients

You’ll need epsom salt, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin flavoring or extract, and red and orange soap colorant.

Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub Step 1

Start by adding the epson salts and baking soda to a large mixing bowl along with the pumpkin pie spice.

Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub Step 2

Add the pumpkin extract. Note, this is a pumpkin flavoring, but please don’t eat this salt scrub. ;0 Stir together.

Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub Step 3

Add the colorings. You’re mixing the red and yellow here to get an orange color. Add more coloring to get a darker orange color.

Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub Step 4

Stir well to evenly distribute the colors. Because of the texture of the epson salts you’ll get a variety of color in the salt scrub.

Pumpkin Spice Salt Scrub

Transfer the salt scrub into an air tight container. I like these small jars with attached lids. They’re great for gift giving.

  7. Thanks for sharing this scrub recipe. I am definitely going to make it very soon. Recently I have tried Himalayan salt scrub which was also very good. It made my skin very soft and glowing. Himalayan salt has so many benefits for the skin. I use it in cooking as well and really like it.

  8. This scrub looks really nice and fragrant. Thanks for the recipe.

  9. As we know that salt is a preservative, the scrub could last anywhere from one to two years without going rancid. Sugar is also a preservative, but a sugar-based scrub will only last for a few months. Thanks for this informative stuff.
