Our morning routine goes something like this:
“Get your shoes on,” I yell across the kitchen.
“I can’t find any socks,” my daughter yells back.
“Here,” I hand her a pair of matching (sometimes mismatched) socks.
She puts them on and takes them off. She puts them on again and takes them off again.
I help her put them on, being extra careful of the “SEAM” that goes across the toe. I understand the dillema of how a thick seam on a sock can absolutely ruin your entire day. I was one of those kids.
We manage to get shoes on over her socks that I’ve adjusted.
Dear daughter stands up.
Dear, dear daughter stomps feet.
Dear, dear, dear daughter has a fit because she can absolutely, positively, FEEEEEEEEEEEL the seam in her sock!!
Somehow we manage to get the shoes and socks off and on one more time before running out the door because now we’re pretty much going to be late.
Sound familiar? If, yes, then thank the good Lord for what I’m about to tell you. It not, then thank the good Lord your child can handle regular socks.
Miracles happen, people. Believe!
So, here’s the deets about the seamless socks (see all of it in the video below)
- There is a seam in these socks. BUT, it’s so thin you can’t feel it.
- There is a bump on the side of the socks, but you really, really can’t feel it. (You have to trust my 7-year-old on this one.)
- It looks like the sides of the socks are going to have a seam, but they don’t.
These are amazing seamless socks! I bought two packages and our mornings have never been the same. My daughter puts her own shoes and socks on without complaint, without stomping, without yelling or screaming. These are no-tears socks.
I never thought I’d resort to buying seamless socks, but after you’ve dealt with the tantrums of bad socks, these babies are worth every penny. We have since bought two more packages and replaced every, single sock in her dresser!
