Elf on the Shelf Cupcakes

If you follow me on Instragram, you’ve noticed that our elves are back. Yes, we have elves at our house. I realize that many people are annoyed by the elves. Many don’t want to see photos of the elves. I have to admit that as annoying as the elves can be (especially at 10:00 pm when they are trying to decide what to do for the morning antics!) they are precious and bring tons of laughter and smiles to my children.

They love trying to see what the elves are going to be doing each day and tell their friends about their elves, Amy and Gamey.

So, the other day I found these great Elf on the Shelf cupcake liners (affiliate link) at the craft store.

The sides are Christmas colors, and the bottom has a picture of an Elf.

They come with “picks” that go in the top of the cupcakes. I couldn’t resist.

So, this is how one turned out. I love it! The cupcake is a moist and delicious new recipe that I tried. I just love it and will be making it again!

Aren’t they so cute? Fa. La.La.La. La. La. La. La. LaThey were a big hit with the kids. They love their elves and anything that has to do with them.Here’s Gamey and Amy with their cupcakes. The kids loved this. I did tell them the truth, that I made these cupcakes. It would have been amazing if the elves would have made these themselves, but I don’t think they know how to bake. (And I didn’t want them messing up my kitchen!)So, try it. See if you kids love them as much as mine did!
