Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a mini muffin tin to make the cookies easier to slide out.
Put one piece of cookie dough into each of the 24 mini muffin tin cavities.
16 oz package of pre cut sugar cookie dough
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden.
Remove from the oven and set on a cooling rack to cool. The center will form a crater once cooled.
Once cooled, remove the cookies from the muffin tins and set them on a tray of baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Add food coloring to frosting. Add frosting to the center crater of the cookie cups. You can do this using a spoon, or by using the star piping tip if you want them to look exactly like these ones.
8 oz vanilla frosting, 11 drops blue food coloring
Top with sprinkles.
Red
