Halloween Puppy Chow

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Rice Chex cereal approx. a 12 oz. box
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter smooth
  • 2 Tbsp butter unsalted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Reese's pieces
  • 1/2 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup autumn corn
  • candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • In large mixing bowl measure our 8 cups of Rice Chex cereal (slightly less than a 12 oz. box). Set aside.

  • In microwave-safe bowl add chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and return to microwave for 30 more seconds. Stir and add vanilla.
    1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 2 Tbsp butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pour chocolate mixture on top of chex cereal and gently toss until cereal is covered in chocolate.
  • Add powdered sugar and toss to combine. You can also put the mixture into a large ziptop bag and gently shake until all of the cereal is coated.
    2 cups powdered sugar
  • Add candy pieces and toss.
    1/2 cup Reese's pieces, 1/2 cup candy corn, 1/2 cup autumn corn, candy eyeballs
