Sharp knife
- 1/2 cup Coca-Cola
- 3 tbls granulated Sugar
- 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 5 tbls butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cups chopped walnuts
Press a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper into an 8 x 8-inch square dish.
In a small pan combine the 1/2 cup of Coca-Cola and sugar and bring to a full boil.
Keep boiling over medium heat the cola mixture until it is reduced to about 1/3 cup. You're looking for the mixture to be thickened and syrupy.
To that add the sweetened condensed milk and stir together.
Bring to a boil and remove from the heat.
In a medium bowl combine the chocolate chips, butter, vanilla and 1 cup of the walnuts.
Pour the hot sweetened condensed milk mixture over the chocolate mixture and stir until the butter and chocolate are all melted.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and spread out with a spoon.
Scatter the remaining ⅓ cup of walnuts across the top of the fudge.
Place in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours.
Lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into 36 pieces using a sharp kitchen knife.
Serve and enjoy!
