Preheat oven to 300 degrees.  You won't bake the cookies at this temperature, but the oven needs to be at 300 when you put the cookies in the oven.

Have the kids break the pecans into small pieces with a wooden spoon

Cake mix eggs oil powdered sugar milk

One by one, you’ll add the ingredients. Start by separating the egg whites and whipping them until they form stiff peaks.  You'll add the chopped pecans as the final ingredient.

Pipe onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper


Put the cookies in the preheated oven and TURN THE OVEN OFF!

Leave in the oven overnight. In the morning, remove from oven and they will be perfect EASTER MERINGUE COOKIES!
