Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper BBQ Drumsticks
Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper BBQ Drumsticks are a perfect easy week night dinner. These cook in a flavorful sauce of seasonings, honey, BBQ sauce and Dr. Pepper before getting broiled to perfection. I will be making these all summer long!!These chicken legs get so tender and just off the bone.

- 3 pounds drumsticks
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon cajun seasoning
- ½ cup honey
- 2 cups bbq sauce
- 7.5 ounce can of Dr. Pepper
- Parsley for garnish optional
Place all your drumsticks in your slow cooker.

Sprinkle the pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and cajun seasoning all over the chicken.
1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon cajun seasoning
In a mixing bowl combine the honey, bbq sauce and Dr. Pepper.
½ cup honey, 2 cups bbq sauce, 7.5 ounce can of Dr. Pepper
Pour 3/4 of the sauce all over the chicken legs.
Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours.
Right before serving place the drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
Brush the drumsticks with the remaining sauce and broil under the broiler until they are caramelized, do not let them burn! Keep a close on them under the broiler, you just want to crisp them up a bit.
Garnish with parsley (optional)
