- 10 Nutter Butter cookies cut in half through the short side with a sharp knife
- ½ cup chocolate melting wafers
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vegetable shortening
- 10 pretzel sticks broken in half
- brown, orange, and yellow jimmies
Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add chocolate melting wafers to a small microwave safe bowl. Heat inside the microwave for 1 minute on 50% power. When done, stir and add crisco. Return to the microwave and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until silky smooth.
Dip Nutter Butter cookies (straight edge side down) into the melted chocolate. Dip about ½ in deep. Be sure to allow excess chocolate to drip off.
Place pretzel into the Nutter Butter (broken half connected to the chocolate dip attempting to sandwich it in the middle and connect it to the rest of the melted chocolate.
Lay Nutter Butters in the bed of sprinkles. You can mix sprinkle colors together if desired.
Lay acorns on parchment paper and repeat for each one. Place inside the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes before serving.
