No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

These no bake peanut butter bars are adapted from Trisha Yearwood's amazing cookbook. They are simply divine!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups thin pretzel sticks the small ones
  • 1-1/2 sticks butter melted
  • 1-1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1-1/4 cups peanut butter smooth
  • 1-1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In food processor pulse pretzel sticks until they are fine crumbs (or place in bag and smash them with a utensil)
    2 cups thin pretzel sticks
  • In medium bowl, mix together the pretzel crumbs, melted butter, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cups of the peanut butter
    1-1/2 sticks butter, 1-1/2 cups confectioners sugar, 1-1/4 cups peanut butter
  • Press peanut butter mixture into bottom of an ungreased 9x9 pan
  • Melt remaining peanut butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between
    1-1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • When the chocolate mixture is smooth, pour over top of the peanut mixture in the pan
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then cut into squares and devour!
