Preheat oven to 350 degrees
On a cutting board, cover ham with pineapple slices using toothpicks to secure. Add cherries to middle of slices.
4-6 pound ham, 1 can pineapple rings, 1 jar maraschino cherries
Place ham in a baking dish with 1 cup water
Cover with aluminum foil and place in oven for 45 minutes.
In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey and pineapple juice. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and mixture thickens a little.
1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 cup pineapple juice
After 45 minutes in the oven, uncover ham and begin basting with brown sugar marinade. Brush over the outside of the ham. Cook for another 10 minutes and repeat 3 times or until the pineapple begins to brown.
Once satisfied, remove ham from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes and serve hot.
