- ● ½ cup soy sauce
- ● 3 tablespoons pineapple juice
- ● 1 tablespoons honey
- ● 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ● 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ● 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ● 1-½ teaspoons minced garlic
- ● 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water
Add all ingredients to a medium skillet. Mix well over medium heat using a rubber spatula and bring to a boil.
● ½ cup soy sauce, ● 3 tablespoons pineapple juice, ● 1 tablespoons honey, ● 2 tablespoons brown sugar, ● 1 teaspoon ground ginger, ● 1 teaspoon sesame oil, ● 1-½ teaspoons minced garlic
Once boiling, reduce heat to low.
In a very small cup, mix together the cornstarch and water until the mixture is perfectly smooth. It may be thick at first.
● 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water
Add cornstarch mixture to the skillet and mix until it’s fully blended.
Cover the sauce and allow it to simmer for 5-7 minutes stirring frequently.
When done, pour sauce from skillet to mixing bowl or serving jar to cool completely before ready to use.
Important: cornstarch MUST be deluded into equal parts water before being added to the sauce. Otherwise, the sauce will become clumpy.
- If your sauce isn’t thick enough, delude more cornstarch in water and add to the mixture. Start with ½ tablespoon at a time.
- If the sauce is too thick, add even parts water, soy sauce and pineapple sauce to the sauce.
- This sauce is best served chilled or at room temperature.
Add sesame seeds to your sauce for added flare.
