Easy Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup onions diced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Sauce:

  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce 1 can
  • 2 Tablespoons honey dijon mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon sriracha sauce

Instructions

  • In a skillet, over medium heat, add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until the onion is warm and tender.

  • Add the ground beef and crumble into pieces.

  • Sprinkle the garlic powder, dry mustard, paprika, and salt. Mix and cook the beef completely. No more pink.

  • Pour the ground beef mixture into the slow cooker. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, add all the ingredients for the sauce. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
    ½ cup packed light brown sugar, ½ cup ketchup, 8 ounces tomato sauce, 2 Tablespoons honey dijon mustard, 2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce, 1 Tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • Pour the sauce over the ground beef in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on High for 2-3 hours or Low for 3-4 hours. Mix halfway through.

Notes

NOTE: Depending on how juicy/saucy you like the mixture, cook the last 15-20 minutes without the cover for a thicker mixture.
