Easy Fruit Pizza Recipe

The BEST fruit pizza recipe is easier than it looks, with a sugar cookie crust topped with creamy frosting and fresh fruit. Perfect for cookouts, holidays, and everything in between!

Equipment

  • 1 12-inch pizza pan without holes

Ingredients

For the crust:

  • 16.5 ounces sugar cookie dough refrigerated sugar cookies dough (like Pillsbury)

For the frosting:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Toppings:

  • 2 kiwi fruit peeled, halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 15 ounces mandarin oranges drained
  • 1 cup strawberries halved or quartered
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • ½ cup apple jelly

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a round pizza pan with cooking spray.
  • Press the sugar cookie dough onto the pan until it’s about ⅛ thick. Pierce several holes in the dough with a fork.

  • Bake sugar cookie “crust” for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely on pan.

Make the Frosting

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

  • Once the crust is cooled spread frosting on top of pizza like you would pizza sauce.
  • Top with sliced fruit and decorate as desired.

  • Stir apple jelly until smooth and brush over fruit. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour
