Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 cups chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds

For the Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 2 Tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, breaking the beef apart as it cooks, until browned and fully cooked through. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Divide the lettuce among four serving bowls or arrange on a large serving platter.
    6 cups chopped iceberg lettuce
  • Top with the cooked ground beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, onion, and tomatoes, if using.

  • Drizzle with the dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
