- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 small head of cabbage chopped, around 6 cups
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked minute rice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 28 ounces tomato sauce
- 14 ounces petite diced tomatoes with juice
In a medium sized skillet brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic. If there’s any grease leftover drain it.

In the slow cooker add the chopped cabbage, rice, water, pepper, garlic salt, sugar, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
