Watermelon Rum Punch

This Watermelon Rum Punch drink is perfect for barbecues, poolside parties, and picnics on sweltering hot summer days. Refreshingly fruity and delightfully sweet, this is one of my favorite summer drinks. Ready in 5 minutes, this 5-ingredient watermelon rum punch is ideal for last-minute party planning too!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon seedless
  • 1 cup white rum
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • Ice
  • Fresh watermelon slices and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Slice the watermelon and add it to the blender.
  • Add the rum, orange juice, and lime juice.
  • Blend well, about 60 seconds, until smooth.
  • Pour punch mixture into glasses with ice, and garnish with fresh watermelon and a thin slice of lime.

Notes

  • A high-speed blender or decent food processor with correct attachments will ensure the ice and watermelon chunks get blended thoroughly.
  • For best results, use a ripe watermelon (it will blend smoothly).
  • Use a seedless watermelon. If you can't get hold of one, either remove the seeds before adding your watermelon to the blender, or strain the punch before you serve it.
