Crockpot Rotel Dip

This amazing Crockpot Rotel Dip is made with Rotel tomatoes, Velveeta cheese and spicy sausage.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground sausage
  • 1 pound Velveeta
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 10 ounce can Rotel
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chips and veggies for dipping

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage.
  • Season with chili powder and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the meat to the bottom of your crockpot
  • Chop Velveeta into cubes and add to crockpot. Add cream cheese and tomatoes.
  • Put the lid on the crockpot and set on low for 2 hours.
  • Stir dip and serve hot with chips and veggies.

Notes

  • Stir the dip regularly to keep it from browning on the edge.
  • Brown the beef ahead of time and keep it in the freezer to make this recipe even quicker!
  • Add Taco seasoning, or substitute it for the chili powder, for more of a Mexican flavor.
