Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Jalapenos

These Philly Cheesesteak Jalapenos are a super easy, perfectly cheesy and deliciously spicy appetizer for your next party or gathering. Serve them as they are or drizzle them with a little hot sauce for a little added kick of heat.

Ingredients

  • 8 jalapeno peppers cut in half lengthwise and deseeded
  • 9 ounces cheesesteak meat
  • 3 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chopped parsley garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a skillet over medium high heat on the stove, saute the meat until cooked through.
  • Add the worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine. Remove the meat and set aside.
  • Reduce the heat in the skillet to medium, and saute the onions and peppers in the drippings from the meat until softened. Remove and let cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, meat and vegetables until well incorporated.
  • Stuff the jalapenos with the filling mixture and top with the shredded mozzarella.
  • Place the stuffed jalapenos on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes until done to your liking.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
