Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Using a large bread knife, split the Hawaiian rolls in half so there is a top and bottom. Place the bottom of the rolls in the baking dish.
24 Hawaiian diner rolls
Layer the ham onto the rolls with swiss cheese on top.
6 oz Swiss Cheese slices, 1 pound ham deli meat
Place the tops of the rolls onto the sandwiches.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, dried onion, and poppy seeds.
¾ cup butter, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 4 teaspoons brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon dried minced onion, 1 ½ Tablespoons poppy seeds
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls. Use a pastry brush to spread the butter mixture over all the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with a little more poppy seeds.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake 7-10 more minutes until rolls are just golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Placing the rolls in the pan can be like a puzzle so just fit them as you can. When cutting, cut along the lines of the tops of the rolls as the bottoms might not exactly match up.
