- 12 oz. elbow macaroni
- 3 cups milk whole
- ⅓ cup flour
- 1 ½ tsp. onion salt
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. salt
- 6 cups cheddar/monterey jack blend shredded cheese
- ¼ cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and set aside.
In medium-sized pan, cook elbow macaroni according to package. Drain and set aside.
In medium mixing bowl whisk together milk, flour, onion salt, mustard, and salt and pepper. Pour this into the pasta and stir to combine.
Add in cheese to pasta mixture.
Pour pasta mixture into baking pan.
Melt butter and pour over pasta mixture.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is golden. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
