- 1 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
- 1 jalapeño, stemmed, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup apricot jam
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 16 ounces (2 blocks) cream cheese, room temperature
Preheat an oven to 350.
Combine cranberries, sugar, and chopped jalapeno in a 2-quart baking dish and bake 30 minutes, until the cranberries pop and release their liquid.

Remove from oven and stir in the apricot jam and pecans.

Refrigerate overnight to blend the flavors.
To serve, spread cream cheese on a serving dish then pour cranberry jalapeno dip on top. Serve with Ritz crackers
