While the candy is melting place 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar in a large zip close baggie, and lay out a piece of parchment or wax paper for cooling the cereal.
Once the candy has melted pour in one cup of Rice Chex. Gently stir until the cereal is completely, evenly coated with the candy mixture.
Spoon the cereal into the baggie and gently toss and shake the bag to coat the cereal with powdered sugar. Pour the covered cereal into a sieve and shake to remove excess powdered sugar.
Spread evenly across the prepared wax paper or parchment to cool and harden.
