Black Bean Dip

This black bean dip is a lot of fun to make and tastes great, too!

  • 15 oz canned black beans drained and mashed
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons salsa
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 Tablespoon jalapeno pepper chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped


  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Put black beans in a food processor and pulse a few times until they are mashed, but leaving a few chunks.
  • In a small mixing bowl, add mashed black beans, chopped jalapeno peppers, chopped onion, salsa, sour cream, salt, pepper, and grated cheese.
  • Put mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
