Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Pops

Easier than making cake pops!

Ingredients

  • Marshmallows
  • Candy melts or other melting chocolate
  • Sprinkles
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  • Place candy melts in double boiler until melted (this takes a few minutes) *Don't over heat the chocolate or it will become chalky and will be unusable.) ** An alternate method is melting the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals. I prefer the double boiler method as I feel I have more control.
  • Place the tip of a lollipop stick in the melted chocolate and stick into one marshmallow. Place on cake pop stand to "set up."
  • Once dry, take the marshmallow stick and dip into chocolate. There are many techniques for this, but I like doing one side at a time. Tap excess off.
  • Dip marshmallow into sprinkles.
  • Set on cake pop stand until hardened.
  • Tips: You can dip the entire marshmallow into the chocolate to cover the entire thing or dip just part. Experiment until you find the desired result.
