Chocolate Chip Red Velvet Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whipped topping like Cool Whip
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese 1 block, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups red velvet cake mix
  • 1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup mini semi-sweetchocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles we used white
  • 2 Tablespoons pink heart sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together Cool Whip, heavy cream, cream cheese, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Place red velvet cake mix in bowl and microwave for 30 minutes then let cool.
  • Add red velvet cake mix and cocoa powder to the cream cheese mixture and beat until combined.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips with spoon or spatula.
  • Place dip in a serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerator for 20 minutes or more to become firm.
  • Top with sprinkles and serve with cookies and wafers.
