Equipment

  • 8 inch baking dish
  • Small Saucepan
  • Mixing Spoon
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring spoon
  • Sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Coca-Cola
  • 3 tbls granulated Sugar
  • 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 5 tbls butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Press a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper into an 8 x 8-inch square dish.
  • In a small pan combine the 1/2 cup of Coca-Cola and sugar and bring to a full boil.
  • Keep boiling over medium heat the cola mixture until it is reduced to about 1/3 cup. You're looking for the mixture to be thickened and syrupy.
  • To that add the sweetened condensed milk and stir together.
  • Bring to a boil and remove from the heat.
  • In a medium bowl combine the chocolate chips, butter, vanilla and 1 cup of the walnuts.
  • Pour the hot sweetened condensed milk mixture over the chocolate mixture and stir until the butter and chocolate are all melted.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan and spread out with a spoon.
  • Scatter the remaining ⅓ cup of walnuts across the top of the fudge.
  • Place in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours.
  • Lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into 36 pieces using a sharp kitchen knife.
  • Serve and enjoy!
