- 3 cups Bisquick
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 12 ounces beer
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray the bottom and sides of a 9 x 5 loaf pan with cooking spray.
In large mixing bowl combine the cups Bisquick with 1/3 cup sugar and the beer and whisk until blended.
Pour batter into greased loaf pan.
Bake 45-55 minutes or until golden brown.
Melted tablespoons of the butter in a small microwavable bowl.
Brush melted butter top of the warm loaf. Cool 10-15 minutes and enjoy.
Storage:
This bread can be kept fresh at room temperature in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap for at least 3 days.
You can also freeze it. Cool the bread completely and double wrap it in plastic wrap, then a layer of foil. It will stay fresh in the freezer for about 5 months. When you are ready to thaw it, just stick it in the fridge overnight and warm up the slices in the microwave.
