Bisquick Beer Bread

Equipment

  • 9 x 5 loaf pan

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Bisquick
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray the bottom and sides of a 9 x 5 loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • In large mixing bowl combine the cups Bisquick with 1/3 cup sugar and the beer and whisk until blended. 
  • Pour batter into greased loaf pan. 
  • Bake 45-55 minutes or until golden brown. 
  • Melted tablespoons of the butter in a small microwavable bowl.
  • Brush melted butter top of the warm loaf. Cool 10-15 minutes and enjoy.

Notes

Storage:
This bread can be kept fresh at room temperature in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap for at least 3 days.
You can also freeze it. Cool the bread completely and double wrap it in plastic wrap, then a layer of foil. It will stay fresh in the freezer for about 5 months. When you are ready to thaw it, just stick it in the fridge overnight and warm up the slices in the microwave.
