Snowman Marshmallow Pops

A fun Christmas craft the kids can eat! Just a few ingredients are needed to make these cute snowman marshmallow pops.

Ingredients

  • marshmallows
  • mini m&m’s
  • Twizzlers pull ‘n’ peel cherry candy
  • mini Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • chocolate chips
  • white melting candy white chocolate chips or orange melting candy melts may also be used
  • orange food coloring
  • vanilla frosting

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for 1 minute, stir, and microwave for an additional 30 seconds or until melted and smooth.
  • Melt white chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power , stir, and repeat this process until melted. Stir in 2-3 drops of orange food coloring. If white chocolate begins to seize up, stir in a few drops of avocado oil or coconut oil to smooth it out.
  • Slide three marshmallows onto a lollipop stick.
  • Using a butterknife, add a dab of frosting to act as “glue” to the back of three of the same colored mini M&’M’s. Press the M&M’s down the front of the snowman to resemble buttons.
  • Pull off a single strand of the pull ‘n’ peel candy. Lay it flat on your working surface and add your marshmallow pop in the center. Wrap it around the bottom of the top marshmallow and tie it to create a scarf for the snowman.
  • Use a toothpick to dip into the chocolate and dot the eyes and charcoal mouth onto the top marshmallow.
  • Using a separate toothpick, dip into the orange chocolate and then draw a nose to complete the snowman face.
  • Use a butter knife to add a dab of frosting to the larger side of a mini reese’s peanut butter cup. Press the mini reese’s peanut butter cup onto the top of the snowman’s head to resemble a hat.
  • Repeat this process to create the desired number of marshmallow snowman pops.
