Ingredients

  • 36 regular Oreos crushed + 15 Oreos (sliced)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
  • 1- 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips or candy melts
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable shortening
  • 40 Mini chocolate chips
  • 80 candy eyes

Instructions

  • Start by slicing about 15 Oreos in half and remove the frosting.
  • Use a food processor or blender to crush the remaining Oreos into fine crumbs. You can also put them in a zip top bag and use a rolling pin to crush them.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies, vanilla extract, and cream cheese until thoroughly mixed.
  • Roll into1.5 tablespoon balls and chill for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Melt the chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl for 30 second increments, stirring in between until the chocolate is melted.
  • Using a spoon, roll the balls individually into the chocolate and place them on a baking tray. Carefully press in the Oreo halves – one on each side. You may need to hold them for a few seconds to make sure they don’t fall off.
  • Add the mini chocolate chips to the top of the ball for the ears.
  • Allow the balls to chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
  • Then, add a small drop of chocolate to the back of the eyes. And apply eyes to the front of the bat and let dry.
