Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Made with just a few pantry ingredients these Bacon Wrapped Smokies with sweet brown sugar glaze are a sweet and smokie snack everyone loves! They are an absolute must for game day or your next party!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon cut into thirds
  • 1 pound little smokies small sausages
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar divided

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Spray a 9x13 dish with cooking spray and set aside. (use a glass dish)
  • Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie with the bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Place the smokie on the baking sheet.
  • Continue until all your smokies are covered in bacon. Line them in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • In a small sauce pan melt the butter and one cup of brown sugar, stirring frequently. Pour hot mixture over the bacon covered smokies.
  • Take the remaining cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the top of the smokies.
  • Bake 15-20 minutes and then turn the heat up to 400 and bake for 5 more minutes until the bacon is crispier.
