My niece (thanks, Kate) introduced me to “Tunnel Baby,” an animated image of a baby going through all the stages of fear, then back to safety and fun again. Click this link to see what I am talking about — it only takes a couple of seconds to watch.
We can learn a lot from Tunnel Baby. Sometimes life throws us curveballs that we think are the end the world. We think we can’t get past it, but maybe we shouldn’t concentrate on getting past these events, but, rather, getting THROUGH them. Tunnel Baby clearly survives the fear he faces when going through a dark, scary tunnel, but is rewarded with sunshine at the end.
My niece puts it this way:Â “We’ll come out on the other side.”
