Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients: - pretzels - confectioner's sugar - butter - cream cheese  - whipped topping - strawberry gelatin - water - strawberries

Pour melted butter over crushed pretzels and mix together. This will form the base for the crust.

Place melted butter and pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan. Press down with the bottom of a glass or your hands. Bake for 10 minutes at 375.

Make the cream cheese layer by mixing the powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.  Place on top of the cooled pretzel crust.

Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the crust in an even layer. Refrigerate at least on hour to let it set.

Make the strawberry gelatin and add sliced strawberries to the mixture.  It's important to let this come to room temperature.

Pour strawberry mixture on top of chilled cream cheese layer. Spread out to cover entire layer.  Place back in refrigerator to chill for at least 3-4 hours.

Slice and serve. Keep leftovers refrigerated.
