Slow Cooker Gyros

These Slow Cooker Gyros are an easy and tasty spin on classic Greek gyros. Made with juicy and flavorful chuck roast, tender onions, and a dreamy homemade tzatziki sauce.

INGREDIENTS

– Beef chuck pot roast – Onion  – Fresh cloves garlic – Dried oregano – Salt – Lemon

In your slow cooker place the roast. On top place the onions, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, lemon juice and water.

Cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH 4-6 hours until tender and easily shreds with a fork.

In a small mixing bowl combine the yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt and dill.

Spread the tzatziki sauce on a pita bread, add the meat and you can serve with red onion, lettuce, tomato and cucumber.
