The elves brought a special book to our house the other night, “Santa is Coming to Asheville!” The kids were super excited when they saw this. As we celebrate Christmas in a new city this year, the book is extra-special to us.
I first saw one of these books at Barnes & Noble in Florida on vacation over Thanksgiving. It was specific to that town. I’ve since learned that there are versions for nearly every major city in the US. And, it’s not just the title that’s unique. Inside the book, it talks about how Santa is flying over part of town. Our Asheville version mentions the Biltmore house too.
What a great gift these little elves brought our family.
This Asheville version was found at a Barnes & Noble store, and you can search online to find it at Barnes & Noble or Amazon. The books are authored by Steve Smallman and illustrated by Robert Dunn.
