It’s true, some stranger said these words to me the other day as I was walking to my car.
“Hello, Gorgeous!” he said from across the parking lot.
“Thanks,” I replied, half ignoring this potential ignoramous.
“You look very pretty in that dress today,” he said as he continued on his way.”

Why is it that a simple statement can make you feel so good? It’s because people don’t say nice things often enough. And, when strangers tell you something great, you tend to believe it — they don’t have to be nice to you. Unlike your husband who may say something because he knows you are beautiful on the inside.
I don’t entirely believe the strange man wearing the white tank top who said I am gorgeous, but I’m going to believe it today.
