The heat treating of the cake mix is in the blog post, but I’ve added it to the recipe card as well. It’s best to heat the dry cake mix in the microwave before using in a recipe since this is a no-bake recipe.

Just the cake mix. You heat treat the dry cake mix, then follow the instructions in the recipe.

Recommend doubling the cool whip, and don’t put sprinkles in until just before serving because the colors will bleed in the dip. Pretzel was the clear dipping winner with this one so you get a salty sweet bite.

Nilla Wafers work great because they are a strong cookie. Sugar wafers taste great too!
